Keep reading for great ideas on how to plan your next restful retreat, so you can head home relaxed and recharged.

On the Property

Whether you’re on your own or with your significant other, Twin Pine Manor is designed to enjoy and relax. Our guests regularly comment on how peaceful and restful their stay was. While just off US 322, our 3.5-acre grounds are set back and surrounded by mature trees, giving the property the feel of a private estate. You can leave your cares behind as you enter our tree-lined drive, and relax in the peaceful oasis we’ve created for you.

Take the time to sit by the fireplace in your suite or the stone fireplace in our Great Room (pictured above) and sip a coffee while reading the paper. Snuggle up with a novel and lose yourself in the story. Catch your partner up on life with a glass of wine instead of constant distractions. Let the warm waters and whirlpool jets envelope you as your cares melt away in your Jacuzzi tub.

Help yourself to our complimentary snacks and enjoy the view from our back deck, or take the time to watch the sun dip below the trees from our rooftop patio. Grab a game and get playing, or watch a movie on the big screen TV in the game room.

Stroll around our beautiful garden or our grounds to make the most of your time on the property. Or sit in the gazebo and soak in the sounds of the nearby pond.

For the ultimate relaxation, book an in-room massage with one of our local massage therapists. All suites can accommodate a single massage, but you can also book a couples massage in our larger upstairs suites (Alpine, Country Oak, Windsor, Valentine, Victorian, and the Tower). If you want to experience the indulgence of a day spa, the Spa at Hotel Hershey is less than a 45-minute drive from us and is worth making a day of it.

Whatever you choose to do, take the time to soak in the moment. And linger over each course of your delicious breakfast to start your day with a relaxed attitude.

On Your Doorstep

Spend Time in Nature

Whether you’d prefer a leisurely walk or something that requires a little more energy, there are plenty of options. Pick a segment of the Warick-to-Ephrata Rail-Trail for a stroll, or bike the whole 7.5 miles (rent a bike at Warwick Township Municipal Building parking).

If you want to get those hiking shoes out, see Discover Lancaster’s favorite trails around the county to find one that suits your mood. Or rent a kayak (seasonal) and start paddling—Middle Creek Wildlife Reserve or Speedwell Forge are both beautiful options to explore. If you brought your golf shoes, you can also book a tee time at one of our local golf courses and play a few holes.

Go for a drive

There are numerous scenic drives around Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Simply get off the main path, and you never know what you’ll find. Depending on the season, there are covered bridges, one-room schoolhouses, fresh-cut flowers, roadside stands selling local produce or homemade baked goods, and local greenhouses. And, of course, in PA Dutch Country, you might find a horse and buggy, a farmer in the field with his work horses, and fifty feet of someone’s washing drying on the line.

See a Show

Immerse yourself in the story as it unfolds onstage. Lancaster boasts several local professional theater options. Sight & Sound is nationally known for its immersive faith-based productions, and we can offer guests 10% off tickets when you book a stay with us. The historic Fulton Theater in downtown Lancaster, and Dutch Apple Dinner Theater both offer high-quality productions of off-Broadway shows. There are also several well-known local venues for live music if you prefer that type of stage.

Do Something You Enjoy

Whether you find your peace shopping for antiques, puzzling out an escape room, throwing axes, or feeding the ducks, there are so many options to choose from. Not to mention an excellent food scene if what you enjoy most is a good meal.
