Whether on your Christmas tree or an animated show, Christmas lights always add a bit of color and beauty to the dark winter nights. Here are a few local favorites for you to enjoy during your visit:

1) Refreshing Mountain (November 21, 2025-January 3, 2026 ) //  $12 or $49-69 per person

Choose between taking a stroll or soaring through a forest of light. Whether you prefer to take a walk through a winter wonderland or zipline amidst the lights, Refreshing Mountain has got you covered. You can also grab a hot drink and sit by a camp fire to further enjoy the Christmas scenery and music.

2) Stone Gable Estates (November 21, 2025-January 3, 2026)  // $30 per vehicle

Drive through 3 miles of their expansive property adorned with more than one million Christmas lights. Tickets also include a life-sized Nativity scene and decorated steam trains.

3) Christmas Spirit Light Show (November 21, 2025-January 3, 2026)  // $25 per vehicle

Drive through a one-mile drive of animated, color-changing lights decorating Penn Medicine Park. Afterward, take a walk through their Christmas Tree Lane with more than 100 trees that turn the ballpark into a field of Christmas trees.

Christmas on Stage

Celebrate the holiday with a show! Our professional local theaters and music venues are putting on their Christmas best just for you.

1) American Music Theater (November 7-December 30, 2025)

For their 2025 Christmas Show, the American Music Theater is featuring a musical adventure entitled Deck the Halls.

2) The Fulton (November 21-December 28, 2025)

Based on the holiday film, Elf the Musical follows Buddy in his quest to spread Christmas cheer and find out who he truly is.

3) Dutch Apple Dinner Theater (November 7-December 28, 2025)

This Christmas, the Dutch Apple is staging Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn, which features comedy, dance numbers, and Irving Berlin hits.

Christmas Special Events

Whether you want to delve into the history of Christmas, sample homemade Christmas cookies, or experience a Christmas village, there’s plenty to do. And don’t forget all the year-round activities Lancaster has to offer as well.

1) Yuletide at Wheatland (November 17-December 30) // $20 per person

Discover the origin of our Christmas traditions and experience how it was celebrated in the mid-1800s with a tour of President James Buchanan’s historic home.

2) National Christmas Center (November 21, 2025-January 3, 2026) // $22 per person

18,000 square feet of Christmas history and décor decked out in 1950s themes.

3) Amish Christmas Cookie Tour (November 21-December 20, 2025) // $60

The Amish Farm and House is offering a taste of Christmas by sampling homemade cookies while visiting authentic Amish homes. The tour also includes their farmhouse and 15-acre farm.

4) Koziar’s Christmas Village (November 1, 2025-January 3,2026) // starting from$13 per person

Enjoy Christmas displays, multiple trains, and plenty of shopping throughout their 11-building venue, all decorated with over one million Christmas lights.
