Twin Pine Manor is a spacious mansion with nine luxurious guest rooms, all with Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Located in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Country, we offer an upscale, romantic countryside retreat-setting for bed and breakfast guests.
A few years ago, we were honored to receive recognition from bedandbreakfast.com as one of the top ten B&Bs in the U.S. What earned us that award continues to be the heart and soul of our service – Dedication to giving each and every guest luxury experience they deserve.
Visiting our grandson was so special. Being able to be close by and feel the comfort and quiet of home is so appreciated. This b and b was luxurious with staff meeting your every need. We would rate this b and b experience as excellent and will return soon! Great workout space, close to town, nice gardens as well.
There are not enough positive words to describe Twin Pine!! Norm is a wonderful host! He is such a friendly, kind man and wanted to be sure we were enjoying our stay. Our room was clean, fresh and absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of options. We were totally relaxed and felt at home at the B & B. When we travel to that area, we will be booking our stay at Twin Pines!
Moses Kurtz, a Lancaster County farmer, purchases 60 acres of farmland in Ephrata, PA to establish a family homestead – Twin Pine Farm.
Moses’ son, M. Norman Kurtz, builds a modest A-frame house (pictured above) as his personal residence on a small portion of the original 60-acre tract of farmland.
The original A-frame home undergoes renovation and expansion.
The home begins another phase of expansion.
The expansion work is nearing completion with the Manor now nearly 10,000 square feet. The residence and its grounds now occupy 26 acres of land.
Twin Pine Manor officially opens for business.

Because of a personal, life-changing experience he had in his youth, Norman Kurtz gifts this beautiful property to a local charity. After two decades of running day-to-day operations, now retired, Norman continues to live at Twin Pine Manor and serves as a board member for this charity, which plans to use the profits from this business to build an equipping school for Missionaries.
The Twin Pine Manor Staff seeks to achieve excellence in all we do. We are here to create an experience that our guests will never forget. Every guest is a VIP in our home, so we pay attention to every little detail. Our promise is that each guest leaves the Manor feeling more relaxed, refreshed, and pampered!
