Great Stay, tripadvisor.comWe stayed at Twin Pine Manor for a getaway weekend and had a wonderful stay. The grounds, fountain, ponds, and gardens were beautiful. The house was spacious, with great usable space fun space, pool table, piano room, which are not typical for a B&B. The decor was lovely with antiques and art all around. We stayed in the Valentine Suite which was well appointed and comfortable with a spectacular bathroom. The full breakfast was great with fresh fruit, Egg casserole, French Toast casserole, and Baked Oatmeal, all were delicious. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back for another stay!
I can’t say enough positive things about Twin Pine Manor. My husband and I stayed here two times now and both experiences were absolutely amazing. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are amazing and the staff is the most accommodating staff I’ve ever met. Everyone is so nice! I will stay here over and over. Innkeeper
Moses Kurtz, a Lancaster County farmer, purchases 60-acres of farmland in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, to establish a family homestead: Twin Pine Farm.
Moses’ son, M. Norman Kurtz, builds a modest A-frame house as his personal residence on a small portion of the original 60-acre tract of farmland.
The original A-frame home undergoes a renovation and expansion.
The home begins another phase of expansion.
The expansion work is nearing completion with the Manor now nearly 10,000 square feet. The residence and its grounds now occupy 26 acres of land.

Because of a personal, life-changing experience he had in his youth, Norman Kurtz gifts this beautiful property to a local charity. After two decades of running day-to-day operations Norman retires. He continues to live at Twin Pine Manor and serves as a board member for this charity, which uses the profits from this business to build an equipping school for missionaries.
The Twin Pine Manor Staff seeks to achieve excellence in all we do. We are here to create an experience that our guests will never forget.
